DOC RESERVA BRANCO
Douro DOC Reserve White: This wine was produced in long non-oxidative fermentation process, with temperature control, from grapes of the Viosinho, Códega and Malvasia varieties, in order to preserve their unique primary aromas. Also, to enhance complexity, 20% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for two months.
It displays a wonderful citrus colour. This wine reveals delicate and intense aromas of tropical flowers and fruits (passion fruit and pineapple), with mineral notes and light shades of wood. In the mouth it feels fresh, light, well balanced and youthful, with a persistent finish.
It is ideal to go along fish, seafood and white meat dishes. Serve and drink at 8-10 degrees ºC.
DOURO DOC
BRANCO
Douro DOC White: This wine was made from traditional Portuguese grapes, which were carefully harvested from vineyards planted on the right side of the Douro River, at Quinta da Costa de Baixo and Quinta da Fozceira. These grapes were completely destemmed, pressed very quickly and fermented without maceration at low temperatures, in stainless steel tanks.
This wine perfectly captures the liveliness of the grape through its citrine and crystal clear colors, while the aroma express soft notes of passion fruit and apricot, and a gentle touch of minerality, that provides a refreshing and long finish. Perfect for an aperitif, fish dishes or seafood and it also goes very well with sushi. Should be drunk chilled, at a temperature of 8°C.
